In the
course we cover the poetry patterns of
cinquains, quatrains, triplets, triolets, and couplets (and
many more!), learn about rhyme schemes, comparisons,
stanzas, and more terms and ideas in an easy-to-understand, interactive way.

UNIQUELY
FAMILY-ORIENTED
Finally, there
is a poetry course for Christian home schoolers that utilizes
classic poetry and new
wholesome, family-oriented poetry
to illustrate poetic techniques. You'll find no pop
culture, dysfunctional family relationships, or bad
attitudes in our poems! Only wholesome, godly examples
are what we use!
NOTEBOOKING POETRY
You'll be encouraged to keep a notebook of
poetry ideas, samples, and copywork. Our course
will enhance your study of poetry in particular and your
writing abilities in general!
Our course is excellent for junior high and  high school students, and also some
upper elementary writers (with this age, though, we particularly
recommend that an adult help to give encouragement and
support)
NOT JUST FOR CHILDREN
We have even had moms taking the course along
with their students! In fact, we highly
encourage you to use this course as a unit study for the
whole family and even write some of the exercises and
assignments together.
THE STRUCTURE OF A CLASS

from home on a schedule that works best for you!

We give personal evaluation
and constructive comments on each assignment that you email
back to us! Our own children have
occasionally taken writing courses by email from
other instructors, and we find it invaluable to have writing
critiques (and time deadlines!) for them from other
teachers.

USING THIS COURSE!
Option one:
Each level is available separately in a 6 week
email class as described above. You simply pay for
each level as you want to do it.
JUST
$35 and includes personal feedback on poems you
write and send in for evaluation.
The course will begin one week or more after
you purchase the course. You will receive the course
introduction and list of helpful materials within a couple
of days after payment. You will then receive the
first lesson. After you email in each lesson's
assignment, you will receive the next lesson in the series.

an ebook and use them in your own way and time.
